Dean

The Dean plays a crucial role in shaping the educational environment for Kindergarten through 8th grade students. By maintaining a focus on discipline and cultural development, the dean helps to create a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment conducive to learning and growth.

Students are expected to follow rules set by the school and NYC DOE Chancellor Regulations. They are to be considerate of each other. Making boisterous noises, door slamming, running in the halls, marking on the desks, walls or lockers, chewing gum, pushing while on line, distracting others during an instructional period, disrupting class on one or more occasions and talking while others are talking are examples of poor conduct.
